Principal’s Message

D.E.S. Brijlal Jindal college of physiotherapy was established in 2007. The college has a robust academic background, with the philosophy of the founding fathers guiding each step. The central location of the college, impressive infrastructure, and a strong, supportive management have added to these strengths. Meritorious students from other districts, states and even other countries get attracted to take admission in our Institute due its excellence in physiotherapy education, safe learning environment, and the legacy of Deccan Education Society. This has led the college to boast of 59 rank holders in the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, over the past 15 years.

It’s my pride and privilege to have a competent, dedicated team of teachers, who continuously strive hard for the development of competent professionals and responsible citizens. The faculty follow a variety of teaching pedagogies, and, besides regular classroom teaching, are well versed with online and blended modes of teaching (learning?).

Besides academic excellence, soft skills and life skills are crucial to the holistic development of the students. This leads to increased opportunities for students globally. Here, at the college, we intend to achieve a 360 0 development of our students. We aim to influence and nurture each of them to achieve their potentials, beyond conventional academic success, for a highly sustainable future. Every student on this campus is mentored and guided by their teachers, so that the student achieves excellence in academics and clinical skills.

Hands on experience is more important than just theoretical knowledge. Keeping this in mind, the college has MoUs with various hospitals, sports academies, geriatric homes, and other organisations, to provide a variety of clinical exposure to our students. The college also has MoUs with various incubation centres, as innovations are the need for the hour.

I am sure that all of us here will take the college forward and always improve on the impressive foundation that we have built up.
