Rhythm – College Fest

Rhythm, our college fest, was organised by the outgoing batch this year as well.

The students came up with innovative ideas to celebrate during the days. They set a challenging task for their juniors to come up with dress designs for the days that had set.

We saw all possible, horror-inducing make-up, costumes and mannerisms for the Halloween Day. The students did a 180 degree turnabout when they came dressed to save the day for Comic-con Day. The Brazil inspired Mardi Gras day was a colourful explosion of masks and fabric. We wrapped up the days with the Twin day followed by the Traditional day.

The students appreciated each others’ efforts and we saw a very inventive use of materials throughout these days.

The Fun Fair, organised to showcase the students’ culinary skills predominantly, had a smorgasbord of eatables, with a few games thrown in to entertain everyone.

The Sports week was in the last week of January, which, per every year, saw enthusiastic participation from the students. The students used this opportunity to change the focus from indoor studies to outdoor competition. They participated wholeheartedly in the various sports that were organised for them.

This year, we preferred to have our annual function earlier to exhibit our students’ talents to our overseas visitors. Though put together hurriedly, our fourth years, nevertheless, rose to the occasion and put up an enthralling display of dance, music and of course Rhythm, which left everyone spellbound and riveted.
